What is Timber Frame Construction?
Timber frame construction is a centuries old building method that uses large, exposed wood beams as the frame of a structure, resulting in a building that has beauty, strength, and durability. Traditional timber framing utilizes mortise and tenon joinery – an ancient handcrafted interlocking wood-to-wood joint that is secured with pegs.

Haven Timber Frames was started in the pursuit of communion by Rick Hahn and Shane Standerfer. For years we have crafted lifestyles centered around rhythm, harmony, and community. Our hope is to make this a reality for others.
We have been working together for a decade, and have learned the value of rest and retreat. We see good work as an act of worship, and our goal is to craft spaces that foster not only rest, but connection and celebration.
