HAven Standard Warranty

Below is our standard warranty policy for our timber frame pavilions and porches. Please note that there may be exceptions to this policy depending on features you choose for your custom build. Be sure to ask us for specific warranty and guarantees on your custom build.

Standard Warranty

Haven Timber Frame LLC warrants that timbers manufactured by us are:

  1. Free from defects resulting directly from the manufacturing process
  2. Structurally sound provided that the structure is installed by us or constructed according to our specifications

Haven Timber Frame LLC does not cover the following:

  1. Damage resulting from acts of God, vandalism, abuse, neglect, accidents, or improper handling, assembling, maintenance, or alterations, or any other external force.
  2. Damage resulting from wood destroying insects or from decay fungus
  3. Non-timber items included in the kit
  4. Perfect wood aesthetics
    • Natural flaws may occur in time as part of the natural aging process, including warping, twisting, cracks, or spots. This is normal behavior for timber frame construction.
    • Color inconsistency due to natural wood variations. Regular maintenance such as staining, touch up, etc…will help keep the color consistent
  5. Labor costs for anything that needs to be removed to replace a timber.

Routine maintenance and cleaning of the timber frame structure is the sole responsibility of the owner.

This warranty is void if the structure is ever disassembled or it if is not installed within 20 days of receiving the timber kit from us or our distributors.
